"Located just minutes from the Colosseum, this restaurant stop was an unexpected gift in the very heart of Rome. From the first moment, the aroma of freshly ground coffee wrapped around us ...rich, deep, and unforgettable. What truly set this place apart was the atmosphere. There was a genuine sense of family in the air. Not staged, not rushed — just real warmth and care. The service was exceptional, attentive without ever being intrusive, and it felt as though we were being welcomed by people who had known us forever. This was more than a break and food, it was a moment of rest, beauty, and connection we never expected to find amidst the buzz of Rome. An unforgettable pause in an unforgettable city. Thank you . You Irish/ Slovak tourists"

"My parents discovered this place years ago and we were thrilled to see that it is still here under new ownership- and just good as it was. I am always in search of a good cappuccino in Rome, one made with creamy foam to the bottom (not milky), and made with good coffee. Spazio 800 hit the bullseye on this one! My 2nd criteria is the quality of the cornetti semplici. Again, theirs were excellent 9/10 - flaky, fresh. Granted it wasn’t busy when we were there, but the service was friendly and prompt. And lastly the atmosphere is inviting, clean, authentic the way nice cafes in Italy used to be (but are increasingly hard to find), with lots of tables inside and out where you can amply enjoy a conversation while lingering. If you’re in the neighborhood, don’t miss Spazio 800!"

"No complaints really. As an American in Italy I appreciated a real breakfast with eggs and meat. This was a nice stop on the morning walk to the Colosseum. The coffee is good and the service is solid. The outside area was covered and had a nice breeze. The only complaint I have is consistent across Europe. Too many smokers. It would nice to enjoy a meal without everyone smoking around you. Damn I love America and the smoke free restaurants."
